€43,200–€52,050 per year - depending on experience, capability and responsibility levels
As the lead scientist on-site, you’ll develop and deliver excavation strategies, coordinate finds and documentation, liaise with heritage authorities, and ensure reporting meets regional standards.
You bring:
- MA/MSc in an archaeological discipline
- Strong excavation record, including previous site leadership
- Fluency in German - B2 or higher, an advantage
- Excellent documentation/reporting skills
- Familiarity with regional monument protection law
