Highways England includes Infra JV in £195m archaeology framework
28/4/2021
Infra JV, a Joint venture of Network Archaeology Ltd and Rubicon Heritage Services Ltd, is delighted to announce that we will be working with Highways England to deliver its new £195m Archaeology Framework on major road projects across England. The four-year framework offers Infra JV the opportunity to work closely with the government-owned company in protecting and enhancing the environment, including England’s unique cultural heritage and buried archaeology.
Infra JV was established in 2016 to provide tailored support to large scale infrastructure development including rail, roads, energy transmission and renewables. We are currently delivering advanced archaeological works ahead of HS2 and Southend Airport Business Park. The JV combines the extensive experience of Rubicon Heritage Services Ltd and Network Archaeology Ltd with over 10,000 km of major linear infrastructure delivered over 25 years.
Mark Collard (Project Director at Infra JV) said ‘We are really looking forward to both the challenges and opportunities that the archaeology framework will offer. We have selected a fantastic team and we can’t wait to get started!’.
David Bonner (Operations Director at Infra JV) said ‘The scale and complexity of this framework was exactly the reason we established Infra – we are perfectly suited to delivering the required services and very much look forward to working with Highways England over the next four years’.
The goal of Infra JV is to provide pragmatic and client-focused solutions to the delivery of high-quality archaeology within the context of large-scale infrastructure development.
